My wife Annette (she’s the lady in the picture eating cantaloupe after running a marathon) ”single-handedly” makes hundreds of cullottes for girls and ladies every year. She generally has three patterns she uses. Her most popular style is an elastic waist cullotte she designed herself for the girls on her intramural sports team. It is a comfortable pattern that does not “flop around” as much when participating in athletic events.  If you’re really nice she might cut out a pattern with directions for you to be able to use yourself. You could email her with any questions or for details. Her email address is avoegtlin<at>fairhavenbaptist<dot>org.
(Oh, by the way, it takes her at least as long to cut out a pattern for you as it would take her to make a pair for you.)
