Some people like a preacher that is more of a “teacher.” Others really enjoy the man that can “put it down,” or “shuck corn.” What is Preaching? The Bible says to “preach the Word.” Preaching is not yelling, it is not just teaching, and not just persuasion. It is all of these and probably more!

You Think Too Much! 
Very interesting. On the light side, I have heard preaching defined as teaching with a yell. I love good preaching. I have favorites, some are good strong almost boisterous in style. Some are quite and others eloquent. I guess there are variations of style, but the content must always be from the Bible. Some believers say that Expository preaching is the only way to go. Again there are other types of preaching (textual or topical). But whatever type of preaching may be, the material must be the “Word.”
I wish you would add some more thoughts on this topic in your blog.
Maybe I’ll try to 10 minutes of continuous writing on this topic sometime. That would be a few more thoughts.
