Wide Christian Reading

“That may require reading more widely in great Christian literature than we ever have before. But I do not mean Christian end-time thrillers or romance novels. Those serve only to corrupt what we do and turn our minds to mush. They are not even good literature, let alone good Christian literature. I mean rather the Christian classics, especially the older books, perhaps the older the better.” (Piety and Philosophy, p. 95-96)
