Isaiah 14 – Thoughts From My Devotions

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? (Isaiah 14:27)

This verse is of great comfort to me.  Even though its direct context has to do with judgment, the Lord’s power and immutability is mentioned here.  If you want a real test of your mental capabilities, just try to answer these questions without saying, “no one.”
