Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? (Job 40:9)
As I thought on this passage from Job, I wondered: Why do some Christians try to take away from God’s power and omniscience by claiming that wondrously terrible natural events are NOT from His hand? God is all powerful; He is all knowing; and He is always right. We may question what He does, but we may never accuse Him.

It is true that the almighty God is in control of everything but are all terrible natural events a punishment for sin? It seems as though they are always linked to the sin or sins of the geographical region in which the disaster occured.
