Malachi 3 – Thoughts From My Devotions

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? (Malachi 3:7)

Reading on the surface (and probably deeper also), God is very angry with His people all the way through the book of Malachi.  But here, in the middle of a “tirade,” He says, “Return unto me, and I will return unto you.”  God’s grace is unfathomable!

  2. Return unto me, and I will return unto you.” God’s grace is unfathomable

Isn’t that the truth. praise God for his grace and mercy, to me, yet a sinner

  3. The following verse also comes to mind:

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
