Malachi 3 – Thoughts From My Devotions

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? (Malachi 3:7)

Reading on the surface (and probably deeper also), God is very angry with His people all the way through the book of Malachi.  But here, in the middle of a “tirade,” He says, “Return unto me, and I will return unto you.”  God’s grace is unfathomable!

Dr. Jeff Voegtlin has been in Christian service for over twenty years. He is an associate pastor at Fairhaven Baptist Church in Chesterton, Indiana, and a Vice President of Fairhaven Baptist College.     Amen. God is good!!!! Because of God’s grace we have more than we deserve.

    James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
